Our Story

We started off as a bunch of moms just looking to get our daughters interested in a cheerleading program. We followed all of the duties, coaching, and hectic schedules, until we decided that there had to be something else, something rewarding without the hot Texas sun, something where our girls would be noticed, and we could still give them exactly what they deserved and thrived for. As full time working moms with children and families of our own, we knew with a little planning we could develop a program that would empower young girls/boys to become Cheerleaders and reach their goals set in front of them. Not only did we develop this, but we have watched friendships and a family emerge out of quality coaching instruction, passion, and commitment. Our goal is to prepare the youth to be ready for the middle school level cheerleading programs by equipping them with the necessary fundamentals of the sport, while getting the competitive, and community experiences!

Meet our Cheer Family

  • Martha G

CEO of Round Rock Elite Youth Cheer

Welcome to Round Rock Elite Cheer! I am excited for a new season with all of you! I have a background of about 15 years competing in USAG gymnastics in Pennsylvania, and as a competitive team coach. I graduated from Penn State University, worked with my own childcare program in PA, and moved a couple years ago here to Texas with my family husband of 13 years, Chris; our son Christopher (who you might just see flipping around as our mascot) and 3 girls: Rylee Reese and Caroline all of whom cheer for Round Rock Elite Youth Cheer. Our oldest is a Hopewell Middle School cheerleaeder. Currently, I am a teacher in Hutto, and love working with the youth.

I am so excited to see the vision set forth coming to life for our program! It is so important for our youth to be involved in a structured community program that can teach quality life-long lessons!

  • Jamela J

Vice President and Lady Tigers Head Coach

Hi! I’m Coach Jamela and I’m happy to be one of the founders for Round Rock Elite Cheer. I started cheering in the 4th grade and fell in love with the sport. In high school, I cheered for my school team and competitive All-Star team bringing home three national championships throughout my cheer career. In college, I cheered at a Division I University where I competed on some of the most amazing stages!

I was born and raised in Arlington, TX. However, I’ve lived in Round Rock for 10 years with my husband of 11 years, Jason; our daughter Jayla (8 yrs old) and our three dogs.

I’ve coached youth cheerleading teams in high school and throughout college. I’m truly thrilled to be stepping back into the cheer world. Competition season is my favorite time of year. It is so rewarding to see all of the season’s hard work come together.

I can honestly say I’ve learned many life lessons in cheer like the importance of teamwork, being confident and understanding the value of hard work. I’m excited to pass my knowledge along to the next generation of cheerleaders. I’m ready to have some fun and I’ll see you on the mat. HIT ZERO!

  • Coach Khaleah

    Khaleah

    Cubs Assistant Coach

My daughter has been cheering with Elite Gold for 2 years. It has been an amazing experience, watching the camaraderie, confidence, skills and memories the team creates throughout the season.

I am looking forward to a great season of hard work, memories, and laughter. GO TIGERS!

  • Amber

    Lady Tigers Assistant Coach

Hi! I am Coach Amber and this is my second year coaching competition cheer. I fell in love with the sport of cheer and cheered throughout middle school, high school and college.

I was born and raised in Kansas and graduated from Newman University. I have lived in Hutto for 7 years with my husband and our 2 kids.

I am excited for another amazing season! I have loved watching these athletes grow and learn, and truly look forward to seeing what they can accomplish with all of their hard work! GO TIGERS!

  • Kelli

    Tigerettes Head Coach

Hi, I am coach Kelli! My oldest daughter has been cheering with the Elite Gold team for two years now. It has been wonderful to see so many friendships develop and we have learned a lot about competitive cheer along the way. With this knowledge and experience, I decided to step into a coaching role in early 2023. In the meantime, my middle daughter became interested and decided to join the Pink team. It has been a joy to work with the kids and watch them grow their skills in such a short period of time! I enjoy cheer because it provides a platform for children to grow confidence, learn what it is like to be part of a team and get exercise while having fun. I was born and raised in west Texas. I graduated from the University of North Texas, then moved to Austin. My husband and I have lived in Round Rock for the past 13 years. We have three daughters, a dog and a pet turtle.

I look forward to a rewarding and fun upcoming season!

  • Priscilla G

Hi! I'm Priscilla! I was born and raised in Texas. I started cheering in middle school and continued all throughout high school. I graduated from Texas State University and I currently work full time at a radiology clinic in Austin as the Lead MRI technologist. I have lived in Round Rock since 2013 with my husband, beautiful daughter and cute little cat named Pearl.

My daughter cheers for Round Round Elite Cheer and loves being a part of this fun, loving cheer team. I am so excited to be on this journey and watch the Round Rock Elite Cheer athletes accomplish all their goals while building lifelong friendships.

  • Tara B

    Uniforms Coordinator and Team Mom

Hi everyone, my name is Tara! I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share a little about myself with you. This is my second year in the Round Rock Elite Cheer family and I’m super excited to be coordinating uniforms for this upcoming season!

My husband, Al and I grew up in a small town, about 60 miles north of New York City. It was a friendly, family oriented community where we made life long friends - and also had beautiful views (we miss the leaves and the pizza!)

In 2014, we were looking for a new adventure and relocated to Round Rock TX. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a great town to raise our daughter Mackenzie, who cheers for Round Rock Elite Youth Cheer.

Cheering has been such a reward as we’ve been able to watch her grow, gain confidence and build relationships with her teammates. Round Rock has now turned into our home.

Outside of cheer, I love to be creative. You can find me on the weekends using my cricut, DIY-ing or planning my next project!

I look forward to this season and watching our athletes shine!
